@mattkenworthy.bsky.social Not sure if you are joking, but rainbows HAVE been seen in Venus’ top cloud layers (Jansen and Hovenier 1974) - they found that the clouds we see are mostly sulphuric acid (bows are linearly polarized and the phase angle is dependent on the refractive index): journals.ametsoc.org/view/journal…
