Three astronomers standing in the middle of a giant triangular array of mirror support pads which will hold the Extremely Large Telescope's primary mirror surface. The array is backlit to show the support girders.An image of the Vortex game as seen in the 1980's British childrens show "The Adventure Game" where the three Earthlings would have to cross a triangular array of jump pads and avoid the invisible (to them) Vortex and try to get home to Earth. The structure looks identical to the ELT support mirror structure.
